WOMEN IN CANADIAN PARAMEDICINE: 2024

In the dynamic realm of pre-hospital medicine, where every second counts and every decision matters, the invaluable contributions of women in Canadian paramedicine stand as a testament to resilience, dedication, and transformative leadership. As we navigate the complexities of emergency response, it becomes increasingly evident that the inclusion and empowerment of women is not just essential but imperative for the advancement of our profession and the well-being of our communities.

WOMEN IN CANADIAN PARAMEDICINE: 2023

Women in paramedicine are life-savers and life-givers. We seek to cultivate meaningful relationships as we collaborate to challenge structures, systems, and social conditions that continue to disadvantage many. We recognize the implicit privileges and the power dynamics that exist when donning the paramedic uniform and commit to helping evolve our profession in culturally safer, humble, and socially responsive ways. We understand the work of equitable and just change can only be achieved through community. We are always learning from each other, the public and the many diverse peoples we care for.
